SWOT Analysis

CCRI Public Library Dog Training Collection

This analysis was presented in two ways: narratively and as a chart highlighting the key points in each category.

A copy can be downloaded here.

A SWOT analysis examines a library or other information institute’s collection and database in order to determine its strengths and weaknesses, the opportunities it has, and the threats it faces. This is done in order to help the institution take advantage of the strengths and opportunities its collection and system have, as well as to mitigate its weaknesses and take action against any threats. In short, the SWOT analysis is meant to help make an institution’s collection and information organization system the best that they can be.
